Toasted Marshmallow Milkshake
makes 2 small milkshakes (about 2 1/2 cups)
8-10 large marshmallows
3 large scoops of vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Place the marshmallows on a skewer and toast until slightly charred over a gas flame. If you don't have skewers or a gas range, you can toast the marshmallows on a sheet tray for about 2 to 3 minutes. Place on a plate to cool slightly.
In a blender, mix together the vanilla ice cream, milk, vanilla extract, and toasted marshmallows. Save 2 marshmallows to top the milkshakes. Blend well.
Note: For a thinner milkshake add more milk, for a thicker milkshake add more ice cream.
Pour into a glass and top with toasted marshmallows. Enjoy!
